Altius Associates was established to provide hands-on, tailored, discretionary and advisory services to a select number of institutional investors.  We focus on assisting our clients in constructing and monitoring diversified portfolios of top performing private equity and alternative assets funds. Our services are customised to meet the individual needs of clients and we typically work on a separate account basis.

Altius currently manages and advises €9.3 billion ($14.3 billion) of private equity and alternative investment mandates and commitments to buyout, venture, and growth managers globally.

The investment team comprises of sixteen professionals with over 160 years of combined private equity experience, with an entire staff experience of over 180 years. The team operates from two offices: London, England; and Richmond, Virginia.

Altius’ professionals have been active in private equity and alternative investing since the mid-1980s and have built up a compelling information and experience base; their expertise encompasses Europe, the US, Latin America, Australasia and Asia.  Altius has close relationships with many of the leading private equity and alternative investment firms in each of the major markets.  These strong ties prove instrumental in gaining access to the funds of top performing managers on behalf of clients.
