Mikko Poutanen is an Associate on the Investment Team. He focuses on tracking and reviewing general partners, primarily in Europe. He is also extensively involved in research, and particularly in reviewing managers focusing on the cleantech market and examining trends in the environment. Mikko joined Altius in April 2009. He has 2 years of private equity experience
Prior to joining Altius, Mikko was a Corporate Finance Analyst at Grant Thornton in Hamburg, Germany and has held positions at the Deutsche Bank and Wärtsilä. He graduated with an MSc in Economics from the University of Vaasa. Mikko speaks Finnish, English, and German.
