Jay Yoder, CFA is a Partner and Head of Real Assets. He focuses on investment opportunities in energy, timber and infrastructure. Jay has over 25 years of investment experience, with 15 years experience in real assets. He joined Altius in 2008.
Prior to joining Altius, Jay was a Portfolio Manager at Tuckerbrook Alternative Investments, where he managed a real assets fund-of-funds. Jay was also Director of Investments at both Smith College and Vassar College, where he generated top-quartile returns. He is the author of Endowment Management: A Practical Guide, published in 2004. Jay has an undergraduate degree from Albright College, where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees and chairs its investment subcommittee. He holds an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
