What is the Altius Associates® Private Equity Art Exhibition?
During the course of our work, we have discovered the hidden creativity buried beneath private equity desks across the world. Unable to turn a blind eye to such repressed talent, we decided to organize a social evening with the crucial attraction being the work of artists from the private equity arena. The first Altius Art Exhibition was held in September 2005 in London – and raised £25,000 for the nominated charities – Shelter and Multiple Sclerosis International Federation. In 2008, Altius added the Badge of Honor Memorial Foundation to the list of charities and raised a grand total of £37,000.
Why we used artwork from the art exhibition throughout our website?
To our knowledge, this is the only private equity artists’ exhibition that exists. That unique feature, along with the phenomenal support and positive feedback we received around the event inspired us to find a way to make the event extend beyond just an evening. By incorporating the works of our own associates and clients in our website, we are able to showcase their creative talents and give you a glimpse into their distinctive persona. These unique pieces of art convey the depth of abilities in these individuals better than any stock photography could.
